Wedding Party

Molly Croteau

Bride

Molly has basically been a smart aleck since she could talk, and gave her parents the usual grief while growing up. In the end, she turned out just fine, and went on to get a B.S. in Chemistry from Keene State College, and then a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Dartmouth College. She met Brian during grad school from an online dating app, and the legend goes that she fell head over heels with a man's profile that contained no information and no picture. Turns out, Brian had 2 profiles on the website and used one seriously, and one not, and Molly had chosen the fake out. Nevertheless, the first date at Gusanoz was over 3 hours, and they have never looked back.

Brian North

Groom

Brian is a nice boy, and he is always the most behaved. Also, he is well known to be good looking and fun to hang out with. The legend of how he met Molly, after she favorited his blank dating profile, is 100% True. He just had to meet this woman who would favorite someone sight unseen, since that meant they were either interesting or desperate, and probably both. Obviously, it was a perfect match.

Wade Croteau

Man of Honor

Wade is Molly's younger and only brother. Growing up with him was always fun and easy. Wade recently returned from a 5-year stint in the Navy, and just graduated from the Diesel and Industrial Technology program at UTI with honors, and Molly couldn't be any prouder.

John Grandi

Best Man

John taught Brian how to play Dungeons and Dragons and their friendship has been an adventure ever since.

Jessica Whitmore

Maid of Honor

Jessie and Molly are life long friends, beginning around age 3. Jess and Molly grew up as neighbors, and Molly's mom babysat Jess (and her sister, Emily) for years. Jess and Molly did it all! From playing outdoors as kids, to terrorizing their younger siblings, to making up dances to Tom Petty's "Free Falling" and ABBA's "Dancing Queen" in Jessie's den, to that entire summer they were obsessed with cribbage and played all day, every day. They've grown further apart as they grow older, but whenever they hang out now, it's like nothing has ever changed.

Christopher North

Groomsman

Chris is Brian's little brother, and no matter how many more fish he catches than him, Brian will always love him.

Mackenzie Hamilton

Bridesmaid

Mackenzie and Molly met through their exes (yuck) back in the early 2000s, and have been the best of friends every since. Days and months can go by without seeing each other, but when they do, it's right back to where they left off.

Nick Lamoureux

Groomsman

Nick and Brian have been friends forever, dozens of Cub Scout meetings held in the old sugar shack, all the way through Eagle Scout, they hung through it all. Slamming the merit badges at summer camp was the best part though.

Melissa Hygom

Bridesmaid

Mel and Molly went to Keene State College together from 2006-2010. While Molly and Mel lived in the same dorm for the entire freshman year, they didn't meet and become friends until sophomore year when Molly was in Mel's dorm room, and Molly laid eyes upon Mel's Labyrinth poster. The David Bowie obsession was real, and a bond was formed instantly!

Brandon Weik

Groomsman

Brandon taught Brian everything he knows about fishing, which is rough because Brian still isn't a very good fisherman. Honestly he just needs to insist he practice his knots more often. It would at least reduce his tackle losses.

Molly Carpenter

Bridesmaid

Molly and Molly met in graduate school at Dartmouth College. Both being "Molly C." in the same lab posed some problems at first, but George Lisi soon dubbed us "Molly C." (Carpenter) and "Molly, Jr.", (Croteau) and that's what stuck for the next five years. Molly Carpenter was and is a role model to Molly Croteau, which helped immensely during grad studies when Molly Carpenter's calm determination and logic got Molly Croteau through a lot of the graduate school woes. Molly Carpenter recently moved back to the Upper Valley, and Molly Croteau could not be more excited!

Nate Hill

Groomsman

Nate met Brian working in a bank, and the shenanigans they created together helped them through the boring times.

Brennan & Sullivan Porter

Ring Bearer

Brennan (age 5 in October 2018) and Sullivan (age 3 in November 2018) are Brian's nephews, and are absolutely adored by the Bride and Groom! They are bright and inquisitive, and the best of friends and the greatest role models for their baby sister, Merryn. Auntie Molly and Uncle Brian know that these two boys will work together to be the cutest ring bearers.

James & Cora McLaughlin

Flower Child

James (age 4.5 in September 2018) and Cora (age 3 in November 2018) are Molly's nephew and niece. James is particularly interested in diggers and annoying his little sister, and Cora is a little bit sass, a little bit bossy, and gives it right back to her older brother. Auntie Molly and Uncle Brian couldn't think of any other adorable duo to be the ones to throw those petals around and make a mess!
