We met each other on the dating app Bumble around October 2021. When I deciding to reach out to Bryce I basically told myself “I’ll never find a good man who accepts me for who I am”…. Bryce invited me over to his apartment for a nice home cooked meal for a dinner date shortly after we started talking. He proved me wrong that night and showed me exactly how a real man treats a women. I was nervous driving to his house since we never met previously but I went from Norfolk, Va to Newport News, Va which was about 40 mins. Little did we know that the Lord knew we needed each other before we knew ourselves We were both about to give up on the dating life before talking. Then we found one another <3 Two months after we started dating we decided that we were right for each other. So we moved in together and it’s been heaven ever since.

We moved out of our two bedroom apartment and began the life of being a homeowner. Very exciting to rebuild this home to make it feel like our own! We replaced all the flooring, painted walls, outside work, starting the chicken parent life. There was a lot of feeling overwhelmed since the house was not well taken care of but when we look back to where we started. It’s a miracle that it looks like a completely different home! We added a fur child, Finn to our family in July 2022. He adores having a huge backyard and hearding the Chickens! Let all the memories keep on flooding in because this is just the beginning and there is a life time to go…

On a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon I just got home from nannying. I open the front door and there comes Finn, Minnie & Kala with balloons tied to them. I was unsure what was going on besides the dogs running around trying to get the balloons off them. Once we got the dogs back inside I was beginning to set my items down and Bryce grabbed my side… he opens this box and it has a BEAUTIFUL ring inside. He got down on one knee while I was still in shock that he included my little sister, Katrina in the proposal. I said YES!! I absolutely had no idea but I loved it being in our home together with fur babies around! So many balloons plus a full bouquet of red roses. Later that evening we took engagement photos at the beach with the help of Katrina being an amazing photo taker. Let the wedding planning begin and help us tie the knot.

Bryce and I have grown closer with the Lord while knowing each other and we decided to proceed with a small wedding ceremony out at Newport News park that was absolutely beautiful right near the water.
