Wedding Party

Elise Brown

Maid of Honor

Elise and I go way back—like floaties-at-the-pool back! We met when we were five years old at the local swimming pool, just a week before kindergarten started. Elise walked right up to me on the diving board and asked if I wanted to be her friend (since neither of our parents would go swimming with us, LOL). We quickly found out we were going to the same school, in the same grade, and even in the same class—it was fate! I didn’t grow up with a sister, but Elise has always filled that role effortlessly. From countless sleepovers and our Oscar-worthy “CoverGirl commercials,” to American Girl dress-up, that somehow turned into wedding dress shopping, we’ve truly done it all together. These days, our playdates have just upgraded to visiting each other’s houses (that we both own!).

Isabel Anderson

Maid of Honor

Isabel and I met freshman year at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. I call her my "angel on earth" because she has this calming presence and strong sense of character that makes everyone around her better—especially me. She’s the calm to my crazy, the “let’s think this through” to my “let’s just do it!” You can usually find us as part of our trio with our other best friend, Rachel—we do everything together. From late-night “study sessions” (where Isabel and Rachel actually studied, and I did literally everything but that) to going to church, our hiking adventures, shopping trips where I try to convince her to buy everything and eventually living together our senior year—just the two of us—she’s been there for every moment. Now, she’s finishing PA school, and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She’s one of those once-in-a-lifetime friends who I couldn't imagine my life without.

Rachel Pitzen

Bridesmaid

Rachel is part of our trio with Isabel AND one of the very first friends I made at UW–La Crosse. From the very first night we met, I knew she was going to be a bridesmaid in my wedding someday (and here we are!). She is, hands down, the funniest person alive. Whether it’s one of her one-liners, or the fact that somehow she also loves Nickelback, big trucks, horses (even though she’s never ridden one), and any country bar she comes upon. But beyond the jokes, Rachel has one of the biggest hearts and would drop anything to be there for me. Rachel, thanks for keeping me laughing through every season of life-I am so thankful for you!

Caitlyn Myers

Bridesmaid

Caitlyn and I met in college while working at the YMCA! We bonded during our long carpool drives to and from work, and before we knew it, our “work friendship” turned into a forever friendship. We have so many fun memories together. Every week you could find us at Eagle’s Nest playing bingo or spending late nights at Dell’s. My junior year of college, my college house that I was renting had mold and I had to move out for a bit, I stayed with Caitlyn — which basically turned into an extended sleepover. Caitlyn is the most generous person! I am so lucky that the YMCA brought us together all those years ago!

Olivia Dreger

Bridesmaid

Olivia and I first met in kindergarten when we attended the same school. We were always friends growing up, but it wasn’t until high school that we became truly close. Olivia is currently a guidance counselor at a local high school, so it has been so fun having a friend in education like me! Olivia has always been that constant friend—the one who’s been there through every season of life, and no matter how much time passes, we pick up right where we left off. Olivia has always been a steady, loyal presence in my life.

Jess Norrgran

Bridesmaid

Jess is my sister-in-law — she married Austin’s brother, Wes, in July of last year! Jess and I are surprisingly similar in so many ways: we both have a very heavy foot when it comes to driving, we love to play games (Mexican Train being one of our faves), going golfing, proud dog moms, and we even have matching permanent bracelets we got together a few years ago! We’ve already made so many memories together — from family holiday parties to our up-north shenanigans — and I know this is just the beginning. I’m so grateful that marriage didn’t just bring me a husband, but also a lifelong friend in Jess.

Jessica Duckart

Bridesmaid

Jess is my cousin, and being close in age meant we grew up side by side — celebrating birthdays, holidays, and all of life’s biggest moments together. There’s something special about being cousins: you’re family, but also a built-in friend! A couple of years ago, I was honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and most recently I gained one of my favorite titles yet — “Auntie” to her daughter, Lainey Rae! Watching Jess step into motherhood has been so special, and I feel incredibly lucky to have not only grown up with her, but to keep growing through life with her.
