Dublin Airport is the closest international airport to Luttrellstown Castle. Located approximately 20 minutes from the city centre, depending on traffic. There is a taxi stand outside of Dublin airport to get you to the city centre.

While it may seem convenient to rent a car, we want all of our guests to be safe! Here are some fun facts about driving in Ireland: - Driving on the opposite side of the road - Driver's seat is on the right side (passengers seat) - Most rental companies only offer manual cars, please make sure you know how to switch gears using the left hand! - One lane back country roads - Always keep on the left hand side of the road! - Ireland requires rental insurance with each company

We recommend staying near the Ha'Penny Bridge on either side of the Liffey River. Temple Bar area is fun, but can be a bit noisy with all the pubs in the area.
