The State Fair is a Minnesota tradition that's worth visiting if you're in town early. Be sure to save room for Sweet Martha's Cookies- Anna's favorite!
Walk the Chain of Lakes
One of our favorite ways to spend an afternoon! Walk around the Chain of Lakes, then stop at Bread & Pickle on Lake Harriet for a casual lunch.
Dining in Minneapolis
Dinner spots we love: Billy Sushi, Jefe, Bar La Grassa, Porzana, Freehouse, Hai Hai and Parlour. For drinks: Surly Brewing Co., Hewing Hotel rooftop, Berlin, Pryes Brewing Co, and Cuzzys (fun neighborhood dive bar just a short walk away). Surly and Pryes both also serve great food. For breakfast or brunch: Diane's Place, Aster Cafe, Rise Bagels, Marty's Deli, and the French Hen.
