Who would have thought that something as simple as a swipe could lead to a love like this? We met on Hinge while Seth was deployed in Poland during the summer and fall of 2023. Hoping to "find a girl back home", Seth set his location to Indiana—and that one small decision changed everything. From the very beginning, we felt an instant connection, spending countless hours on FaceTime and sharing conversations that made the distance feel a little smaller. That Christmas, Seth was able to come home early so we could finally meet in person. Our first meeting took place at the Indianapolis airport, and from that moment on, it felt like coming home to each other. Just a few months later, we moved together to Fort Benning, Georgia, where Seth was stationed next. Life in the South brought new friendships, new adventures, and eventually our dog Fletcher—who completed our little family. Now living in Charlotte, North Carolina, Seth is working in manufacturing management at Corning, Inc., and Madison is continuing her career as a Registered Nurse at an outpatient infusion center. Together, we are building a life rooted in love, faith, adventure, and deep gratitude for every step that led us here.
