After being unlucky at love for quite a few years, Norman and Maxine met 7 years ago and had their first date at Baby Cakes. The timing wasn't right and they lost touch. They reconnected while walking the trail at Spratt Park (you know Norman likes to stay active and Maxine likes to pretend like she's active) . Maxine spotted Norman from far away and told her sister she thinks she knows that guy. After receiving much encouragement from her sister she asked Norman for his number. They exchanged numbers again and had their second first date on Valentines Day at Aromah Osteriah, which has become their annual Valentines spot. Over the years, they've fostered their love through their mutual love of taking road trips, going out to eat and sharing laughs. In 2023 Norman asked Maxine to marry him and for the first time Maxine was lost for words but in the end she said YES ! Fast forward to 2024, Norman and Maxine have found love again and are ready to declare that love by officially uniting their families on May 5, 2024.
