FAQs

Question

Am I allowed to have a good time?

Answer

YES! Please have the most fun ever in life! It’s all about the good vibes, party fun, excitement, and being present!

Question

What is the Wedding Day-Jan 30th Schedule?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:00 PM, so please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early. Parking can sometimes be challenging, so be sure to allow extra time to find a spot. There are parking meters directly in front of the location, as well as nearby parking garages (be prepared to pay for 1-2 hours of parking). We recommend searching the location on Google and familiarizing yourself with the area—it’s located by a park and across the ocean water/harbor. County Administration Center 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101 The ceremony will last approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. Afterward, we’ll take photos, and there is a possibility that we may relocate to a nearby spot for pictures. Once photos are finished, a support team will pick up food, and the rest of us can head to the vacation home for check-in and access after 3:00 PM. This is also a great time for anyone who needs to stop by a store, as there’s no rush to get to the vacation home immediately. At the vacation home, we’ll have dinner, music, karaoke, a little dancing, and plenty of time to enjoy each other’s company. Note: Start thinking about your Karaoke song(s). If you're feeling shy, duets are welcome, but don't stress about it; it's all about having some fun and laughs! :)

Question

Food on Wedding day?

Answer

Food: Birria, arroz, and frijol Drinks: water and soda (coke and still deciding on what other ones lol) Dessert: Cake

Question

BYOB?

Answer

BYOB {bring your own bottle ;)} We’ll have some beers and a bottle of Gran Malo tequila. Feel free to bring your preferred drinks or alcohol of choice. We might not have enough to keep the party going all night, so if you know you’ll want to keep the vibes flowing, definitely bring a little extra!

Question

Are there any Activities planned for the weekend?

Answer

We don’t have a set schedule or planned activities for the weekend. We plan to wake up at a comfortable time on Saturday, enjoy breakfast and coffee, and then gather to check in about what everyone feels like doing. Our goal is for this to be a completely stress-free, obligation-free mini vacation for everyone. (The bride may need a gentle reminder to relax and enjoy herself too—but hopefully she won’t and will fully soak it all in 😉.) Since we’re a big group, we completely understand that not everyone will want to do the same things. There’s absolutely no pressure to join in on any activities that happen. If you’d rather relax at the vacation home while others go out to explore SD, please feel totally free to do so.

Question

Will food be provided the rest of the weekend?

Answer

We’ll be providing 2 meals on Saturday and 1 meal on Sunday. The plan is a breakfast/brunch of eggs and bacon or sausage, and (chicken) pozole for dinner on Saturday. Depending on how much food is left, we might also make another breakfast on Sunday. We’re also leaving room to go out and grab a meal if anyone wants on Sunday. Feel free to bring any extra food or snacks you know you’ll want for yourself. If you’re going to bring food items for yourself or your family, please don’t feel any pressure to share with everyone :) If it helps, you can label your items. For example; If I know I love me some cereal, and I need a whole gallon of milk for myself to survive the entire weekend, I’ll put my name on it so no one accidentally finishes it.

Question

How can I support?

Answer

You’re welcome to contribute toward food expenses for the weekend. We’ll be providing meals that we think everyone will enjoy. We’re not exactly sure how to calculate it, so feel free to pitch in roughly what you and your family normally spend on a few meals. Additionally, we can all pitch in with light cleaning and upkeep of the vacation home, so we can enjoy a clean, comfortable space all weekend.

Question

What gift should I bring?

Answer

The best gift you can bring is yourself—come present, relaxed, and ready to have a great time. Your phenomenal vibes are more than enough! We understand that this weekend outing is an expense for everyone, so please don’t feel any pressure to bring an additional gift. We’re grateful for your presence and for your willingness to show up to celebrate and be here with us.
