Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Embassy Suites, Berkeley Heights. This is the closest option to both the Friday night welcome party and the wedding venue. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to unforeseen construction, it is not possible to walk between the hotel and party. Shuttle service will be provided back and forth from the lobby of the hotel continuously from 6:45-9:15 pm during the welcome party. Shuttle service will be provided to and from Stone House on Saturday night, making it a safe and convenient option for our guests. Meet outside the hotel lobby at 5:15 pm if you are taking the shuttle. Details about our room block can be found on the "travel" tab of the website.

What is happening at the Welcome Reception?

Answer

The Welcome Reception on Friday night will be a fun opportunity for us to socialize with our guests and for everyone to mingle prior to the big day! This will be a relaxed event with party food, beer/wine, and fun activities like ping pong. Suggested attire is dressy casual. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to unforeseen construction, it is not possible to walk between the hotel and party. Shuttle service will be provided back and forth from the lobby of the hotel continuously from 6:45-9:15 pm during the welcome party. Kids are welcome to join us at this event!

How do I get to and from Stone House?

Answer

For those staying at the Embassy Suites Berkeley Heights, shuttle service will be provided to and from the hotel and venue the night of. Please meet outside the hotel lobby at 5:15 pm for departure. If you are driving yourself, Stone House offers complimentary valet parking on-site. The address is 50 Stirling Road, Warren NJ 07059.

Due to venue limitations, we kindly ask that only those specified on your invitation attend. The wedding will be an adults-only event. If you have any questions about this, please contact Noriko or Erik.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Doors to the venue open at 5:30 pm on Saturday evening. Please try to arrive around this time to make your way to the ceremony space and settle in. The ceremony will start promptly at 6 pm, followed directly by cocktail hour at 6:30 pm.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

We are planning to hold our ceremony on the venue's outside patio, if weather allows. Given the unpredictable nature of the New Jersey climate in late March, that decision will be made closer to the day-of. If the ceremony is held outdoors, heat lamps and other goodies will be provided to help you stay cozy and warm! The rest of the evening's festivities will take place indoors, with the opportunity to enjoy the outside patios and fire pits at your leisure.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

No, please do not take pictures or video during the ceremony portion of the evening. We have hired a professional photography and videography team who will capture this special moment for us!

What is the schedule for the wedding?

Answer

Guest arrival: 5:30 pm Ceremony: 6 - 6:30 pm Cocktail hour: 6:30 - 7:30 pm Reception (Dinner and Dancing): 7:30 - 11:30 pm
