Jessica and Alex’s story began on a night at "The Ugly Irishman" in Hoboken, where two separate groups of friends unexpectedly became one. Thanks to a little twist of fate, Jessica found herself joining the group Alex was with - and what started as an easy, genuine conversation about the night (and their shared love of soccer!) quickly turned into hours of laughter, connection, and dancing the night away. From the very beginning, their story has been full of perfectly imperfect moments - proof that sometimes the best things in life don’t go according to plan. Not long after they met, Alex had a whole plan to officially ask Jessica to be his girlfriend… but in his excitement, he “accidentally” asked her a whole week earlier than intended. Safe to say, neither of them minded one bit. Their first date followed that same theme. Alex had originally planned a go-karting adventure, but in true Jessica fashion, she realized she hadn’t eaten dinner. So, plans changed, and instead they found themselves sharing appetizers, great conversation, and plenty of laughs over dinner - ultimately, missing their go-karting reservation. Instead, they ended their night dancing at The Ashford. From that moment on, Jessica and Alex have been inseparable - growing together through every unexpected twist and every beautiful milestone. From traveling the world to places like Mexico, Guatemala, Rome, and Spain, to moving into their first apartment, welcoming their beloved puppy Lola, and recently closing on their forever home in Somerville, each chapter has brought them closer together. Now, they’re beyond excited to celebrate their biggest milestone yet: becoming husband and wife - a moment they’ve been dreaming about side by side for years.
