What does "we will be celebrating virtually" mean?

Answer

Due to restrictions in travel and large gatherings, we have had to make a few changes. For the health and safety of all, we have made the decision to drastically reduce our in-person event to immediate family only. The rest of our friends and loved ones will be able to watch our ceremony live online. Although it won't be exactly what we imagined our wedding would be we are still excited and hope you are too!
