Gig Harbor Waterfront
After eating at Devoted Kiss, our first date continued with a walk along the Gig Harbor Water Front. The pathway along Harborview Drive follows the water’s edge where you can explore galleries and antique shops, enjoy beer and wine tasting, or even rent a kayak and hit the water. Downtown Gig Harbor has a lot packed into just a few blocks!
Point Defiance
We first visited Point Defiance at the peak of the pandemic and have returned many times since. This is a large park with endless things to explore including a Zoo & Aquarium, hikes through an old-growth forest, beautiful gardens, and relaxing beaches.
Seattle-Bremerton Ferry
Are you new to the Pacific Northwest? The Seattle-Bremerton Ferry ride offers a unique view of Puget Sound, including the Seattle city skyline, beautiful mountain ranges, the Bremerton Naval Shipyard, and maybe even an orca whale (if you're lucky). The ride is an hour each way, and if you combine it with some Seattle sight-seeing, it can become a full-day adventure!
