In the early fall of 2017, Megan won two tickets to a concert at the Ryman in a radio contest. Having just moved to Nashville six months earlier, she thought of her long list of new, local friends to invite. All two of them were busy. She remembered a friend from her hometown who lived in Nashville now and thought, "why not?" She texted Taylor Nord. After a quick "who is this?" blow to Megan's ego, Taylor excitedly accepted! They met up pre-show at Robert's Western World, one of the oldest honky tonks in Nashville. Both nervous, they greeted each other with that first date over-zealous side hug. And from there, it only got more smooth. Every time they tried to speak to each other, the band would play so brain-piercingly loud that neither could hear a single word the other said. "What do you do for wo--" big trumpet moment. They'd wait for it to quiet down... "So, what part of town do y--" oh, long drum solo. Super. The absurdity of the situation gave them both the Church Giggles. And so, they spent the night laughing at nothing, sipping drinks, listening to music and barely saying anything. Fast forward three years and countless memories later, they've decided they'd like to spend forever listening to music and laughing at nothing together -- just hopefully with fewer trumpet interruptions.
