If none of these are peaking your interest, nearby towns include La Conner (20 minutes), Mount Vernon (20 minutes), Bellingham (45 minutes). Or while you're in the PNW and want to visit the Beautiful San Juan Islands, its a direct ferry ride from Anacortes.
