There are direct Widerøe Airline flights to Ørsta-Volda Airport. This is a smaller regional airport, so you must first fly into Oslo or Bergen (see link).

Accessible via Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, and some European cities (see link). From Ålesund, you can take the airport bus to Sulesund and then the ferry to Hareid.
