We warmly welcome all of our non-Catholic friends and relatives to join us in this celebration of life! A Catholic church is a place of deep reflection and prayer, so we kindly ask that guests observe silence or speak quietly before the ceremony to maintain a prayerful and reverent atmosphere. The Nuptial Mass will include several hymns, readings from Sacred Scripture, the exchange of wedding vows, and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist (Communion). A program will be available which will include the hymns, the order of the Mass, and general explanations of the various parts of the Liturgy so those unfamiliar with our tradition can easily follow along. During Communion, any non-Catholic guests are welcome to remain seated or come forward to the Altar Rail to receive a blessing from the Priest. If you wish to receive a blessing, simply cross your arms in an 'X' over your chest.
The dress code for the event is Black-Tie Optional. Simply put, tuxedos or formal evening gowns are preferred, but if you don't have one, cocktail attire (a dark suit with a tie or a cocktail dress) is appropriate.
We welcome children at the Nuptial Mass, but we kindly ask that children not attend the wedding reception.
