The aspens this time of year are top notch! Highly recommend doing some peeping. Great spots locally are Vail, Beaver Creek, or Piney Lake.
Go stand up paddle boarding or kayaking at Piney Lake! It's a bit of a drive to get up there, but it's gorgeous, plus good chance of seeing a moose! They have rental paddle boards and boats.
We have a ton of great mountain biking in the Vail valley. There are many places to rent bikes, like Kind Bikes & Skis or Moontime Cyclery in Edwards.
Take a gondola ride up Vail (or Beaver Creek) and check out the incredible views!
The only rule: you must invite Nora https://paragonguides.com/activity/llama-hikes/
Visit Leadville, an old mining town. If you're in Avon, take Route 24 over Tennessee Pass for some incredible leaf peeping. Make sure to book your appointment at Melanzana ASAP! There are a lot of really interesting historic sites along to drive.
If you chose this activity, the expectation is that you bring dinner.
On Saturday!
