I haven't received an invitation

Answer

Yep! They're mostly lost. USPS is having some issues because of some closures and mismanagement by the post master general. All the information should be on this website but please reach out if you have questions. Thank you for your patience.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

One of the benefits of this location is that everything is close together. We will be out in the Square the night before the wedding. There are a few great bars and we would love to see you out and about!

Is there a dress code?

The dress code is semiformal, but come in whatever makes you feel good and comfortable! We can't wait to see you all.

Is it walkable?

Of course! All locations are safely walkable, connected by sidewalk and crosswalks. • Marriott and Hampton Inn to Chapel on Sycamore: 10-minutes • Decatur Square MARTA to Chapel on Sycamore: 7-minutes • Chapel on Sycamore to Letitia Pate Evans Hall: 10-minutes • Letitia Pate Evans Hall to Decatur Square & Marriot & Hampton Inn: 12-16 minutes

Is there transportation to and from hotel to ceremony and reception, and from parking to the ceremony?

Yes! We will have shuttles connecting hotel, ceremony, reception and parking. See Travel for details.

Answer

For the ceremony please park at Decatur First United Methodist Church 300 East Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur. Reception parking is at the Agnes Scott College West Parking Facility 137 S. McDonough, St., Decatur.

How should I use MARTA to get to the hotel?

Answer

The Airport MARTA station is adjacent to the baggage claim area. To get there, walk to baggage claim and enjoy the Airport’s world-famous public art, or ride the “Train Plane” to the last stop. Be warned, it can be a long walk for tired or little legs, so opt for walking only if you are feeling the need to stretch. To ride MARTA each person will need to purchase a reloadable Breeze card ($1) at vending machines as you enter the station and add however many fares needed - $2.50 for each one-way trip. Once you are settled in, you can reload the card at any station if you decide to do some day tripping in Atlanta. You can also skip the line, avoid the $1 charge per card, if you download the Breeze 2.0 app. It is reloadable and free. The link is on the travel page and here: https://www.itsmarta.com/breeze-mobile.aspx Directions to take MARTA to the hotel: 1. Get off airplane & follow signs for domestic baggage claim & ground transportation. 2. Take the train or walk to baggage claim and follow signs for MARTA. 3. Take any train to 5 Points Station. Both lines stop there. 4. Get off at 5 Points and follow signs to take EAST BOUND Blue Line, Indian Creek Train. 5. Get off at Decatur stop & walk to hotel (.3 miles). Exit on Church Street. ---> Turn Left onto Church Street and then left onto E Ponce de Leon Ave. Turn Right onto Clairmont Ave and hotel will be on your left.
