We met the night of the USC vs. Georgia football game in 2018. After losing to Georgia, we and our mutual friends grabbed dinner at a pizza spot nearby. Overall, it was kind of a bad night. Everyone was tired, dehydrated, and feeling defeated. But one very good thing did happen that evening - we happened to be sitting across from each other. Over the next year, our paths crossed more often and we quickly became close friends. Our relationship grew gradually and with time, we developed a fondness for each other that we could not ignore. The rest, as they say, is history. We believe we were not brought together by our own doing, but instead by God's divine power. And for that, we are eternally grateful.

Evan proposed to Nora while on a summer beach trip with her parents in Hilton Head. It also just so happened to be their second anniversary as a couple. During a walk on the beach, Evan got down on one knee and asked Nora to be his wife. Nora was completely surprised and ecstatic! Needless to say, she said yes. The proposal was followed by a surprise celebration dinner with both of their families.
