Our story began in the summer of 2015 in Breezy Point, New York. Although our families already knew each other, it wasn’t until Carlos was working at the stores just up the block from my house that our paths truly crossed. What started as simple conversations quickly turned into something much more. After getting to know each other, Carlos made the first move, and from that moment on, our story began. Over the years, we have grown together through every season of life. From career changes and personal growth to navigating life’s challenges, we have always faced everything side by side. Through it all, Carlos has been my safe place—my protector, my best friend, and the person who always makes me feel loved and secure. He would tell you that one of the things he loves most about me is how supportive I am and how I always encourage him to believe in himself and chase his goals. We have spent the last eleven years building a relationship based on trust, love, respect, and always showing up for one another. In 2024, we took a leap of faith and moved to North Carolina to build a life of our own. Leaving behind our families, friends, and everything familiar wasn’t easy, but we knew we were each other’s forever and were ready for the adventure ahead. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Together, we’ve created a home, discovered new passions, explored new places, and experienced all that life has to offer. Every step of the journey has brought us closer together and strengthened the life we’re building. One of our favorite things to do together is spend time outdoors with our dog, so it was only fitting that Carlos chose a hike for one of the most important moments of our lives. The day after Thanksgiving, surrounded by both of our immediate families and with our dog by our side, Carlos asked me to marry him. It was a perfect reflection of everything we value most—family, love, adventure, and sharing life’s biggest moments with the people who mean the most to us. After eleven incredible years together, we are so excited to finally say “I do.” What began as a chance meeting in our hometown has grown into a lifetime of love, friendship, and unwavering support. We cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of the people we love as we continue our greatest adventure yet—forever together.
