Since you are in the Sugar Land area, we highly recommend Town Square for food, drinks and shopping! If you're staying at the Marriot in Town Square, the location is great and definitely worth the price!
Hermann Park
At the core of Houston city is this beautiful park that offers picturesque views along with access to the Houston Zoo. A great place to go with family! The museums are also walking distance from here. We highly recommend the Museum of Fine Arts!

Next to Hermann Park is the Rice University campus which is also beautiful. Without a doubt a must visit because Rice is amazing!
Rice Village
Next to Rice University is a nice area similar to Sugar Land Town Square with great options for food, drinks & shopping! This is where Akshat lived for 2 years and he loves this place!
Midtown
Midtown is where many young (20s & 30s) working professionals live. It is next to downtown and one of the major party areas in Houston. Go here for the nightlife! PS - This is also where the future husband & wife will be living!
American Shooting Centers
When in Texas, you have to go to a gun range! Guns, trucks, beer & mexican food - typical Texas!
Houston Premium Outlets
All the great brands at really good prices. This outlet mall is my top pick for shopping!
