We have been in a committed polyamorous relationship for over twelve years, and we hold ourselves accountable to each other, our selves, and our communities in concentric and spiraling circles. Our love for each other is bound up in our love for the world we live in and the world we are creating. We build home and family together in order to make ourselves strong and soft for our life's work, our love work, and life purpose. Almost eight years ago, our lives were rocked by the deaths of both of our moms, eleven days apart. This life-altering loss served as a place of regeneration for our relationship, it bonded us together and made each other our life rafts in a new way. In that loss and transformation, we experienced intimate differences in class and access to resources and the ways that shaped us, and were nourished by our communities and families who stepped up to support us. It is time, now, to invite you all to witness and celebrate our love: what we have grown together, and what we plan to grow with each other and all of you as our collaborators in the coming years. What a joy, despite so many of our communities being under attack, to find a way to deepen into love and commitment, and to find another turning point in our relationship based in celebration rather than mourning.
