Funny story. We actually attended high school together but never spoke a single word. A friend and I decided to go to Walmart one night and he was there with one of his friends. We started talking and hit it off immediately. A couple days later, he asked my friend if I thought he was cute. Then things kicked off and he eventually asked me to be his girlfriend. In that Walmart parking lot. Ever since then, we’ve been inseparable!

He proposed at the Detroit Zoo Wild Lights under the ornament attraction. It was our first official date in our relationship so he thought it was perfect to propose! I was in such shock and of course, was super happy! It’s sweet to look back on because it was such a sentimental place for us and I look forward to going back each year, especially after we’re married and when we start to grow our family!
