let's get married!

Our story began on October 14th, 2017 along with 18,000 other people. Of all the Minnesota Wild games each of us had attended up to the home opener for the 2017-2018 season neither of us had crossed paths before. Anyway, the game starts with the customary "let's play hockey" chant and the puck drops at center ice. As the game goes on we start chirping at the refs, then to the players, and then ultimately to each other. Before the end of the 3rd period we exchanged phone numbers and began chatting about anything and everything. Our 1st date was at the Muddy Pig (RIP) in St. Paul and it's been history ever since. On March 1st, 2024 Alex proposed during our annual ski trip to Steamboat, and managed to keep it a total surprise during the weeks leading up to our trip. Nolin had no idea, but answered with a "Are you serious?? YES!"
