We're getting Married!

In 2016, fate placed us on the same path at Xavier University’s College of Pharmacy. For years, we passed through the same hallways, unaware that the most important person in our lives was just steps away. It wasn’t until a cocktail party hosted by our dear friends, Oliver and Tomi Joseph, that our worlds truly collided. Our first date was simple, yet unforgettable—an evening of laughter at City Park’s putt-putt course, followed by milkshakes at the beloved Camellia Grill. It was there that a friendship blossomed into something far more meaningful. For a time, Taylor referred to him simply as “my friend Jordan,” but on October 5, 2018, Jordan changed that title forever by asking her to be his. Following our time at Xavier, life took us on separate journeys in the pursuit of residency training—Jordan in Montgomery and Taylor in Austin. In 2020, we took the next steps in our pharmacy careers. Taylor returned home to Houston and Jordan moved to Austin. Through the rigors of pharmacy residency and the challenge of long distance, the miles could not weaken the bond we shared. In the summer of 2021, Jordan made the leap and moved to Houston, a choice that spoke louder than words about his love and commitment. On June 16, 2024, the day after Taylor’s Birthday, Jordan asked the question they had both been preparing their hearts for. With joyful tears and an overwhelming “yes,” a new chapter began—the beginning of forever.
