FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is black-tie welcome. We recommend men wear a tuxedo or a dark-colored suit. Ladies are recommended to wear a full length dress.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be outdoors and tented. We recommend women bring a sweater or a shawl in case of cooler evening weather.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our photographers will be hard at work to capture the wedding, and we will be sure to share the photos afterwards. Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like at the reception!

Question

Will there be transportation provided to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Trolleys will be shuttling people from each of the 3 hotel blocks. Please RSVP with where you are staying. If you are not staying at a hotel, we recommend driving to the venue or walking to one of the hotels to catch a shuttle.

Question

Is there parking at the church and reception venue?

Answer

St. Michael’s does not have a designated parking lot, however, there is ample street parking around the church and multiple public lots within walking distance. Blithewold has free parking on property.
