Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location: The Riverbird Events in Allendale, Michigan. The venue address can be found on your invitation, and everything for the day will take place there. When you arrive and park, you will be guided to the ceremony area!
The ceremony will take place outdoors on the grass just outside the reception space. The reception will be held inside a temperature-controlled pavilion with paved flooring for a comfortable evening of celebrating!
Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes before the ceremony begins so everyone has time to get settled before we say “I do!”
Semi-formal attire is requested. Since the wedding is in August, it will likely be warm and sunny. Please keep the outdoor ceremony in mind and dress comfortably for the weather.
While we absolutely love your little ones, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
If your invitation or RSVP includes another guest’s name, then yes! Otherwise, we kindly ask that guests do not bring a plus one unless it has been approved by the bride and groom ahead of time.
Yes! We kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. Once the reception begins, feel free to take plenty of photos and videos. We would love to see and share in all the memories!
Absolutely! A light appetizer and refreshments will be served after the ceremony during the social hour, followed by dinner during the reception. Please note that this will be a dry wedding, so alcohol will not be provided. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Yes! We’re registered on Amazon. We also have a fund available through the “Registry” section of this website. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all, but if you would like to give a physical gift or card, you’re more than welcome to bring it to the wedding as well.
