We hope you are doing well and staying healthy. It is with great difficulty that we share our decision to postpone our wedding due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is for the best. Our priority is to keep our guests safe and healthy. We hope you understand and respect our decision. We apologize if you have already booked travel arrangements and we hope you are able to cancel without incurring expenses. Many airlines are offering refunds or credits on flights due to the virus. We invite you to join us for our wedding ceremony and reception on September 5, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Eight Leafed Clover in Risingsun, OH. Please RSVP by August 15th on https://www.zola.com/wedding/nolanandmichelle or by calling/texting us at 419-806-9358. We understand if the change in date also changes your availability, but we hope you can still make it. We recommend you keep an eye on the status of the virus before making travel arrangements or choose a refundable option. We hope everything will calm down by September, but we aren't really sure what will happen. We are excited to share our special day with you, even if we have to wait a few more months for it!
We first *really* met through a mutual friend before going as a group to an EZ+ dance in Jr. High. A few years later, we found ourselves in the same group of friends. As friendships often lead to more, it's no wonder that we ended up having feelings for each other... Michelle realized how she felt about Nolan and confided in a mutual friend, but made him promise not to tell Nolan. Trusting a teenage boy was a mistake that turned out to be a real blessing. Of course, this friend did tell Nolan how Michelle felt, and he (thankfully) felt the same. After a night of texting from different band buses on the way from a football game and awkwardly walking together to classes at school, Nolan asked Michelle to go to the Homecoming dance with him. A few weeks later, Nolan walked Michelle to the door of that same friend's house to ask her to be his girlfriend. Can you guess what she said? Almost nine years later, we have been together through most of high school, all of college, and now the life after college. We are excited for the next chapter in our lives, and look forward to sharing life, love, and more kitties together.
