What airport is best to fly into?

Answer

O'Hare International Airport (ORD) would be the more convenient airport to fly into as Lake Forest is situated north of Chicago. PLEASE NOTE: REAL ID requirements go into effect on May 7, 2025! If you do not have a passport, you will need a REAL ID to fly. Check with your local DMV!

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

A hotel shuttle will be provided from the Hilton Garden Inn to and from The Armour House, rounds will begin at 4:50pm. We also will have a 36 passenger bus that will leave at 4:50pm from the Hilton Garden Inn as another option. Ubers/Lyfts are also available in the area if you are not staying at the hotel.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Complimentary parking is available in the standard parking lot. Staff and signage will be available to direct you to the event location. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE LAWN.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults only! We hope that you understand and take the opportunity to have a well deserved date night.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us. Ladies should wear formal or cocktail dresses and gentleman should wear a suit and tie or tux. Be cautious of your shoes as we are hoping for an outdoor ceremony which will take place in the grass. Please be comfortable -- we want you to be able to bust a move on the dance floor!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. If your invitation includes a 'plus one' feel free to bring your chosen guest; otherwise, we appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you personally.
