Although Katie and Nolan had known each other for many years, they truly connected at a neighborhood camping trip down the Cape. Some awkward texting led to some awkward dates (including meeting Katie’s entire extended family on their second date), they started dating August 2011. Since then they have been through high school, separate colleges and many milestones in between. On June 20, 2018 while on a trip to Aruba, Nolan proposed following a beautiful dinner on the beach.
