We're Getting Married!

Our journey together started in February of 2022 when we started working together in Student Involvement at Central College. I knew there was something special about Devyn when I first saw her. We developed a work friendship and eventually the friendship spread into our personal lives in September of 2022. Shortly after hanging out with each other constantly throughout September, I asked her best friend, Michaela-Ann, if Devyn liked me more than a friend and she said yes. We would start dating in October of 2022 and have been together ever since. She would say yes to me on November 16th, 2024. She has become the best person to ever step into my life and I thank God every day that he brought us together. I can't wait to celebrate our love for each other with you all! Nolan and I, individually, had decided to go to a college dance with some of our friends. Dance after dance, we had a kind of tension which made him want to dance with me. While I was taking a water break, Nolan asked our friend Michaela-Ann for advice. She told him to go for it and he did. When I came back, we danced together for the last few songs. That night, Nolan asked me on our first date. We planned to have dinner at Pella's Applebee's. Our customer experience was lacking to say the least on that day. We waited thirty minutes outside to be seated. Then, we were left for another thirty minutes to talk without even being greeted by our server. After a while, the manager realized we were not being served. This might seem like a huge inconvenience to most people, but it couldn't have turned out more perfect. The time had just given us more reason to bond over conversation. The rest of the date went relatively smoothly. We hung out with our friends afterward and everything we had talked about had only brought us closer. He had become someone I could really see myself falling for.
