The closest airports: Asheville – 1 h 50 min Chattanooga – 2h 14 min Knoxville* – 2h 15 min Atlanta – 2h 50 min Greenville – Spartanburg – 2h 40 min. Charlotte – 3 hr 50 min. *Knoxville runs the risk of 441 closing if there is a bad storm (1-40 was destroyed by the hurricane)

Nantahala Lake has more than 75 vacation homes available for rent through Airbnb, VRBO, and other rental agencies. There are several homes within walking distance. Right on the lake with waterfront. Above the lake with lake view. Additional vacations home are 5-10 minutes away! We recommend finding a rental for the wedding. There is a hotel in Andrews, but the roads are extremely windy and not great at night. Please reach out to Danielle with any if you need any help with accommodations. RVs & campgrounds also available NOTE: Please get food, drinks, and anything else you need on your way in. This is a beautiful, remote area, and there is nowhere close for groceries, shopping etc.
