It was a normal Sunday in 2017 -- which meant Alexa and her friend Reiba were going ice skating. They were thinking about how good at ice skating they were going to be, they zoomed around the rink. Well, Alexa got too hot and needed to take her gloves off. With no where to put them, Nolan offered to put them in his pockets (while also trying to show off his skating skills). As the evening went on and they both went home for the night, Alexa felt like she forgot something. Oh yeah, that's right, her gloves! Alexa texted Nolan asking for her gloves back and he return them the next day at school.
And how most stories end .... the rest is history. Nine years later, they would have never thought those text messages that turned into a prom date would eventually turn into a marriage.
Alexa is currently a chemotherapy nurse at SSM Health and Nolan works as a superintendent at Kraemer North America. They live in Prairie du Sac with their dog, Lainey.
