Question

When will the ceremony start?

Answer

Check back here closer to the event for confirmation on the time of ceremony. The reception will wrap up by 9:30PM. As this is a Monday wedding, we recognize some guests will need to be home for work on Tuesday. This 9:30pm end time also allows for added guest flexibility so, depending on where you are headed, some guests have the option to drive home post-reception.

What is the weather like in Lovingston, VA?

Answer

Mid-November weather can be unpredictable in Central Virginia. We encourage all guests to check weather conditions leading up to the wedding to see if it will be chilly or warm. Unless it is rainy or very cold, we plan to have the ceremony outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Dinner will be inside of the Tupelo House on the property.

How do you get to the winery?

Answer

Once you turn left onto the property, you will come to a fork in the driveway. Take a right at the fork. From there you will travel up a hill, past a vineyard, past a Farmhouse on the right, and continue on the road until you reach the Event Barn where there is parking around the back. If you are headed from Northern Virginia specifically, by taking I-81 through the mountains is a great scenic way to reach the Venue while taking in the fall foliage.

Are there smoking areas in or near the venue?

Answer

Smoking is not allowed indoors inside of the event space, and this prohibition includes vaping. Smoking is allowed in the outdoor areas of the property. We ask that you please dispose your cigarette butts in the correct places.
