What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire encouraged! Think festive, elegant and comfortable enough for dancing and possibly a short walk through the French Quarter. The bridesmaid dresses will be burgundy so please try to avoid using that color. Additionally, try to avoid bright colors when picking dress attire.

Question

What should we do while in New Orleans?

Answer

Visit our "Things to Do" page for our favorite restaurants, music spots, and local recommendations.

Question

Should we rent a car?

Answer

Unless you’re planning to visit areas outside of New Orleans renting a car is not advised. The areas most frequented by tourists like the French Quarter/Marigny/CBD are walkable and often not parking friendly while other areas of interest like the Garden District/Magazine St and Midcity/City Park are easily accessible using public transit. Most of the swamp and plantations tours will have transportation to their location available.
