We're getting married!! (finally)

Our story starts in 2020, four short years ago in high school. I had just recently been introduced to Nohemi, a grade younger than me, nevertheless much more responsible. We walked ourselves, alongside a group of friends, to a local restaurant. The Crepery as it’s named. I remember paying for her food as a sort of thank you for dragging me along. Nohemi is someone special. The more you get to know her, the brighter the world seemingly gets. I was a bit awkward then – honestly still am now, yet she made it abundantly clear that I was being welcomed into her world. And that’s all I needed. After that fateful day, I knew deep in my heart I couldn’t let her go no matter what. Helping out with homework turned into hanging out together. Then a couple hangouts suddenly turned into countless hours spent together. Then suddenly those late nights and early days turned into a date every Saturday. After a couple of months went by, we both knew that our innocent love we had indulged in during high school was meant to be something greater. In 2022, we made a promise to each other. Symbolized by the promise rings we wore everyday, Nohemi and I both knew that marriage was simply a guarantee. It was just up to me to pop the big question! A nerve wracking process, combining the efforts of several people and months worth of planning, on May 1st, 2024, I proposed to Nohemi during the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point, Utah. Shortly after that, we moved into our first apartment together, excited to start our engaged life off soon and our married life soon thereafter. Our story, though only four years old is just beginning. We can’t wait to celebrate August 2nd with all of you! Engraving this date into history as our wedding anniversary is a dream come true.
