We still do!

We met in high school Antonio was Karla's friend (Nohemi's sister) from school, the two of us did not connect very much as our personalities were completely opposite, we started talking and Antonio asked Nohemi out on a date, our first date was at las Margaritas in Bellevue. This was the beginning of our friendship, Antonio courted Nohemi for a few months, and after a while of spending time together decided to date; we both had different religious views and because of that, one day as we were talking, we decided things were not going to work out for us because we had different points of view in life, so we ended things and decided to break up. We stopped talking for a few months, one day Nohemi had an accident on her way to school, she was hit by a car, nothing serious thankfully, but when Antonio heard of the accident, he called Nohemi to ask how she was and they started talking again, this went on for a few weeks and after having a serious talk and having compromised to work things out both decided to give it another try at dating. Two years after we got engaged and ended up marrying on June 27th. of 1998. We both waited some time to have children to get to know each other better, and after 5 years of marriage decided it was time to add a member to their family, in January 2003 Amantzi decided to come to this world 8 weeks earlier than the expected due date, after some complications and three weeks in the ICU Nohemi was able to go home without a baby :( baby spent another three weeks in the NICU, baby was healthy so he went home a little bit earlier than expected. After a few years we decided to add another member to our family so in 2006 we were expecting our second child, due date was July, Amantzi got sick in May prior spending one month in the hospital this caused him to become another baby, we never knew what happened or why he got sick, but thankfully recovered a few months after, in July 2006 we welcomed Aj and he was a big happy baby, the two boys were a joy in our lives but as some of you know parenting is challenging and hard at times, we decided to complete our family as both of us agreed we would like to have three children, so in September 2009 we completed our little family when we welcomed our princess, we are a family of five and feel blessed to have these naughty, smart, angry, caring kids in our lives. It has been 25 years since we decided to spend the rest our lives together and even though it has been challenging at times and not always happy :D God has kept us together and we have been able to work things out as needed.
