Our story begins with our matchmaker, Yadira, who introduced us after her graduation ceremony. Cesar and Yadira had met at UNT through their fraternity and sorority involvement, but Yadira had never mentioned she had a sister, as Nohely was living her post-graduate life in Dallas—a fact Cesar never lets her forget. At the graduation, Cesar noticed Nohely and asked a friend, "Who is that?" Surprised, he exclaimed, "She never told me she had a sister!" Throughout the celebration, Cesar expressed his interest in getting to know Yadira's sister. However, Yadira was initially protective and not keen on the idea. Undeterred, Cesar persisted and eventually gained Yadira's approval to ask Nohely on a date. Later, he even sought Yadira's help in planning his proposal.
