Andrew and Sarah met while attending the University of Kansas, where they quickly bonded over their love for Olive Garden. They both agreed that one of the only things they'd change about Lawrence, KS was that an Olive Garden be within city limits. This was all Andrew needed to know before asking Sarah on a second date.

They enjoyed time in Lawrence together attending KU basketball games, sharing lunch in between class, and rarely losing at beer pong at Andrew's fraternity events. Sarah also brought Andrew to many Iowa State events to meet her friends from home.

Andrew and Sarah took their first vacation to Cancun, Mexico. They got to watch baby turtles be released into the ocean and played too many rounds of mini-golf to count. Still to this day, they fight over who beat who so don't ask us about this.

Throughout dating, they spent time apart pursuing their individual professional and educational goals. Andrew interned in Chicago and Sarah studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and completed a co-op in Boston. Some of the couple's favorite memories are when the other visited during these times of distance. In Boston, Andrew introduced Sarah to their now beloved oysters while Sarah forced Andrew to speak in a Boston accent the whole time.

Sarah and Andrew celebrated their graduations from KU in the spring of 2023 - Andrew with his Master's of Accounting and Sarah with her Bachelor's in Biochemistry. The following summer, they moved to Madison, WI for Sarah's graduate studies. Sarah and Andrew welcomed a loving yet trouble-making dog, Max.

Once Andrew verified that he could in fact live with a girl, he asked Sarah to marry him in the comfort of their apartment. They celebrated with oysters and wine at The Tempest, their favorite Madison restaurant before excitedly sharing the news with family and friends. We thank everyone who has walked alongside us as our love for each other continues to grow. We learned how to love each other from those who love us and we cannot express enough gratitude for you all. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
