After being introduced through mutual friends in 2017, David & Stephanie spent a few months getting to know each other through countless phone calls and David making many treks out to Oswego on weekends to visit Stephanie at college. They quickly became best friends, with David's weekly Oswego visits lasting for about a year until Stephanie graduated. After months of long distance, meeting each other's families and friends, and many adventures together, they knew they were in it for the long haul!

David & Stephanie moved into their first apartment together in 2020 while beginning their search for a house. In 2022, they rescued their perfect pup, Oliver, who gave them extra motivation to find the perfect home. They finally found the one & closed March 2023! They spent a couple of months completely renovating the inside (with SO much help from their parents), then officially moved in May 2023. Now they cannot imagine a better place to call home! They welcomed perfect rescue pup number two, Nova, to their family in December of 2023. If you know them, you know their dogs are their entire world! At home, they love spending time outside enjoying the beautiful view, having fires, going on walks with their dogs, cooking and baking together, and cheering on Texas Longhorns Football. They love spending time with family and friends, going to country concerts, traveling, golfing, finding the best restaurants, and ice cream!

On Christmas morning 2023, David & Stephanie drove to Stephanie's parents for Christmas. Stephanie's entire life, her Dad has filmed Christmas morning of her & her brothers' opening gifts from Santa. When the camera started rolling, David got down on one knee & asked Stephanie to marry him! Given their story has been over eight years in the making, they are more than ready to start the next chapter of their lives together & celebrate with all of their favorite people!
