SMF is the best airport to fly in and out of for the weekend. It is about 10 minutes from the listed hotels, 20 minutes from downtown and the recommended activities, and 35 minutes from the venue. If you need a cheaper flight but are willing to drive a little (or wanting to explore the Bay Area) Oakland is another option.
