Gretchen and I have been friends for over 10 years, and while my first impression of her wasn’t exactly glowing (something we now laugh about often), she quickly became one of the most important people in my life. She’s been a true constant — someone I’ve been through absolutely everything with. Her loyalty, strength, and sense of humor mean the world to me, and I’m beyond thankful to have her standing next to me on my wedding day.

Pam has been part of my life for the last 16 years, ever since she trained me as a school bus driver—and thankfully, kept me as a friend, too. What began as a co-worker connection quickly turned into a friendship that has lasted through so many seasons of life. Pam has been a constant source of support, laughter, and honest advice, and I’m incredibly grateful for her. I can’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Kevin, our oldest by just a few months—lol—has always been a steady and loving presence in our family. From the moment David joined us, Kevin welcomed him with an open heart, and the bond they share is full of genuine love, respect, and plenty of laughter. We often joke that Kevin is the most “user-friendly” of our five kids—and anyone who knows him instantly understands why. Watching the relationship between Kevin and David grow has been one of the greatest joys of our family journey.

Through it all, he has grown into a man of honor—loyal, principled, and deeply caring.
