Please RSVP by August 13th 2021 so that we can plan accordingly!
Short answer is No. Those that are coming to the reception have been asked to at least have the first vaccine shot if not be fully vaccinated. If you would still like to wear your mask, you're totally welcomed to but you're not required to.
No. We had the wedding last year with the young flower girls and while we appreciated them, this reception is Adult only. Only children 14+ related to the brides are attending.
It was a difficult decision to limit who was and was not able to bring a plus one, but space is limited at the venue and we REALLY wanted to include you in our special day. No disrespect to your significant other...but we've known you longer. ;)
Cocktail, please. We don't expect you to wear Tuxedos and ball gowns but we really would prefer that you do not show up in jeans and flip flops.
Your guess is as good as mine! It's Texas soooo...who knows? From past experiences, October is fairly mild. Bring a sweater as the ceremony will be outside, but it shouldn't be freezing.
Let us know! We understand life happens and last minute events pop up. We'll miss you but your well-being is most important! Drop us a note, so we'll be prepared.
The ceremony is going to begin promptly at 6:00 PM. Your arrival should be between 5:30 pm and 5:50 pm.
There is a parking lot connected directly to the venue, but space is limited. There is additional parking across and a little down the street from the venue. It's not that far, quick walking distance.
On Wednesday the 14th, a 'Welcome' event will happen, further details to be provided. On Friday, we will be going out for one last hooray and depending on how the brides are feeling, an after wedding event might occur.
Yes! We are going to be reaching into Yaya's roots and will be serving some fantastic PuertoRican cuisine made by Adobo restaurant. Trust me, you won't want to miss it!
Yes! An open bar to be exact! Please drink responsibly and know that there will be security present. We will have three signature drinks. We hope you enjoy one....or all of them.
No! Please do not take any centerpieces or decorations from the venue. Magnolia Terrace has graciously provided most of the decor and if there is something taken, we will have to pay for it.
HECK YEAH! We ask that during the ceremony, the focus is on the moment, not on taking pictures. We have two wonderful photographers who will be there to capture our amazing day. That being said, we would love to see the pictures that you take and our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag so we can keep track of all the pictures. #ForBetterorFairyTale
...Text me. If you have either of our numbers, please don't hesitate to text us and ask us. We want to make sure that you enjoy our day as much as we are going to enjoy it. If email is better, please direct any inquiries to blakecarrillowedding@gmail.com
