Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black tie optional. For men, this means suits, with the option to wear a tuxedo. For women, this means long dresses. To aid in outfit selection, please knows that the bridesmaids will be in black, floor-length dresses, and the groomsmen will wear black tuxedos. We are also encouraging guests to wear fun, bright colors if they so choose - to bring the color, and the party! There is no dress code for the welcome party.

Are kids welcome?

We are having an adults-only wedding weekend. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the children at home so you can celebrate with us.

May I bring a date?

Answer

It depends! Each invitation is customized to the specific guest or family, and it will be clear if a plus one is provided.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

Typically, the weather is warm with a little breeze, usually in the high 70s and low 80s. To avoid rain, our events will be primarily indoors.

Besides the wedding, we are also hosting a welcome party on Friday night. Please see the Schedule tab on our website for details of the whole weekend.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Houston traffic is notoriously unpredictable, so we recommend arriving at the venue thirty minutes before the ceremony time (3:30 p.m.) to ensure you're seated and ready to celebrate.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Of course! Please denote any allergies or dietary restrictions in your RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do! Please see the Travel tab of our website for hotel recommendations and room blocks. We have two room blocks available. Also, there are plenty of AirBnBs and VRBOs near the venue.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Great news - Houston has two airports, and both are about the same distance away from the hotel blocks. Hobby (HOU), is a Southwest Airlines hub, and has one terminal. Bush (IAH) is United Airlines hub, and has five terminals.
