Firestone Grill
One of the most popular spots in SLO. Known for their famous Tri-Tip Sandwich. You must also try their basket of fries, which are seasoned and given in huge portions for all to share.
Splash Café
This chain of restaurants is known for their seafood and award-winning clam chowder. If seafood is not your thing, they also have a full service bakery where they make all of their breads, cakes, and pastries from scratch.
High Street | Market & Deli
Fifteen signature sandwiches or build your own. Everyone knows to go from 4:20 - 5:30 for their daily special where all sandwiches go on sale for $6.99.
Apple Farm
Apple Farm is a hotel and a restaurant, but we know it best for its bakery. They have an assortment of delicious pies, pastries, and fruit pies. Our personal favorites are their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. (Note: Noelle has not eaten a cookie she doesn't like.)
SLO Brew Rock
When we were in college, on Pint Night Tuesdays you could get a beer for a low as a $1.00! While times have changed, this is still a great brewery to grab a bite to eat and try one of their 13 beers on tap.
Pismo Beach
Pismo is the most popular beach in Central California. Located just south of San Luis Obispo, it has a pleasant year-round climate making it ideal for outdoor activities.
Avila Beach
Avila Beach is the closest beach to San Luis Obispo. Although not as well known as Pismo Beach, it is considered a hidden paradise on the Central Coast.
Bishop Peak Trail Head
Bishop Peak is one of the most popular hikes that gives you a view of all of San Luis Obispo on a clear day. This is also where Darren proposed to Noelle.
Downtown SLO Farmers' Market
SLO Farmers' Market takes place every Thursday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and they close off the downtown on Higuera Street between Nipomo and Osos. They set up a variety of booths to bring visitors together to shop, eat, and listen to music.
