Questions and Details

Question

What is Black Tie Attire?

Answer

Black Tie Attire is formal attire for women and men. We deeply appreciate everyone’s participation and effort in helping us maintain the dream of a traditional black tie wedding. For men: We kindly request that men wear a classic black tuxedo, paired with a crisp white dress shirt (pleated or plain front). To honor the black-tie tradition, we ask that gentlemen wear a black bowtie. A black vest or cummerbund may be added for a classic touch. Black patent leather or highly polished dress shoes, worn with black dress socks complete the look. Cufflinks are customary, while a pocket square is optional. For women: We kindly request that you wear an evening gown, with floor-length being the most traditional choice. Evening shoes provide the perfect finishing touch.
