Am I able to bring my children?

Answer

Absolutely! We know that getting child care is challenging but you don't have to worry about that! Bring them with you! We will have kid-friendly meal options and activities for them to partake in!

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is business-casual or casual. Just wear something that makes you comfortable at the end of May in Pennsylvania. We just ask no jeans with holes.

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

As of right now with it being Memorial Day weekend, it should be in the mid to high 70's.

Will the ceremony and reception be inside or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. The ceremony will take place in the big yard of the venue "weather permitting". If it does rain the ceremony will be held under the reception tent! We recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held under a tent.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the conclusion of the ceremony the bride, groom, wedding party and family will be taking pictures for about an hour. Guest are welcome to get refreshments and appetizers for cocktail hour.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

The Big Dipper Lodge in located in Coudersport, Pa, about an 1/2 mile away from Cherry Springs State Park. If you are coming from Route 6, you will take a right in Sweden Valley, there is a road sign for Frosty Hollow Bed and Breakfast and follow route 44 for about 10 miles. If you are coming from State College or Bellefonte area the best way it to follow route 150 to Mill Hall then 664 from Lock Haven. If you have any questions about directions you can contact Chance or Noell directly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm. We ask that you start arriving around 3:00 to 3:30pm. There will be lots of parking available!

What if I have a food allegy?

Answer

Please contact Noell directly if you have any food allergies! We will make the proper arrangements to make sure you can enjoy the meal we will be having.
