How we started: It was some time in early September- we met in a dark, smokey, stale-beer smelling barn, also known as Beta Tau- we became fast friends, beriut partners, dancing on top of the bar buddies. In 2016- after some casual dates at the melting pot and a day in Lake George, Joe invited me down to Poughkeepsie. When I arrived on September 9th, Joe was making me dinner, shortly after he asked me to be his girlfriend- I said "sure.” The Engagement: 2020 was our favorite year. Bringing Dilly home, working side by side for 8 months, purchasing our new home- it was a dream for us. All that was left was to make it official with a ring. Maine is near and dear to us, so it only made sense Joe would get down on one knee in our favorite place, Goose Rocks Beach, with Dilly there. It was the perfect sunset beach proposal. 6 years and 1 day after we started dating- we'll be husband and wife!
