They quickly bonded through their shared torture from the general education class "Physical Fitness and Wellness," freshman year of college at SBU, and they soon became the best of friends. Monica is a steady, godly friend who will never steer you wrong! She gives the best advice, hugs, and makes the best coffee ever.

The most dedicated study buddy, Ilene has been Brittany's dear friend since they first met in the SBU Chorale and later, when Brittany became Ilene's accompanist for years of voice lessons in college. She is always there to lend a hand and encourage everyone she meets, and she is continuously shining the light of Jesus wherever she goes. Ilene is now a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and Brittany will always and forever only call her Dr. Collins.

The dynamic duo! Emily and Brittany grew close over their shared love of Barbara Bonney's recording of "12 Poems" by Aaron Copland, which they performed together Emily's last year at SBU. Emily and husband Christian just recently became parents of the sweetest baby boy EVER, August Thomas. Brittany and Emily live states away, but they video chat nearly every day on the Marco Polo app, which has been an amazing blessing! Emily is the kindest and most loving person you will ever meet--and she is also a totally amazing home chef!

There is nothing more important than Beethoven, which Bridgette and Brittany both agree on. You can count on Bridgette for an iconic wink, sarcastic joke, or the best hug whenever you're feeling down! There always has to be the fun-loving daring friend in a group, and Bridgette certainly fits the bill! You'll never find a more fun, ready-to-help, or cooler Soprano anywhere else.

Pastor of the Bobsfam and King of the Super Chicken bawks! As the Father of the Groom, Air Force Officer and veteran, he is a dedicated husband and even more devoted follower of Christ. Much more, with all that integrity abounds, he is by far the best dad a son could ask for. He's been married to his wonderful wife Penny for 37 amazing years! To borrow from Wesley and the Word, all the world is his parish, he saves all he can, he gives all he can, spends all he can, living to spend and be spent for the sake of others, epitomizing the phrase, "holiness unto the LORD".

In all my years I have not found a man more akin of heart as Jonathan was to David. He is a renaissance man of astounding wisdom, ability, tact, and humility. Gentle in mannerism, yet firm in all faith, he is foremost a brother of encouragement and conviction. As Faithful was to Christian in the Pilgrims Progress, a description of his own imitation of and glory unto Christ is fervent. Mere association of the word "best" becomes tame by comparison. I am fortunate to have lived and grown much by his company. Look no further for a perfect man who loves God and loves his neighbor as himself.

Amidst sharp wits and snazzy dress, he sets the stage as the catalyst king of the beat. He'll blow your mind with trumpet blasts then talk the night of theology, philosophy, history, politics, art and more. He's a titan of testament unto the LORD. Whether leading his wife or going through strife, he embodies the scriptures that say, "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

Never has their been a better example of brothers in arms than this Army brother and His Marine. As a loyal gym partner and even better marksman, this man will always shoot it to you straight. After serving a few tours overseas, Noel has been one of Erik's closest allies on the battle brought home. With his wife Elizabeth by his side they're a force to reckon with. And though the Psalmist puts chariots and horses beneath the might of the name of the LORD our God, what happens when you mix the three? You get the following verse, someone who will always "rise up and stand firm".

Loyalty and strength are sordid amongst men. As for Nathan, there is no such shortage. He's steadfast, honorable, and relentless in spirit. With a great sense of discernment and impartiality, he serves and protects those he loves even if he won't receive the same in return. From my experience, no more fitting example can be found of Christ centered selflessness and sacrifice than He.

Musically rhymed and biblically inclined, as younger brother to the groom, he takes life as it comes. As a loving husband and studious brother, he knows how to live in the joy of the LORD. He thrives on learning and being learned for the I AM. He is slow to speak, quick to listen and abounding in steadfast love. If ever there was "a friend that sticks closer than a brother", he'd be it.

From MNU football to the courtroom, this man is lethal on the field. He's a dedicated friend and beloved brother in Christ who knows how to have a good time. Whether it's hunting, fishing, or motorbiking, the outdoors is where it's at. He's been one of Noel's closest friends through difficult times and a joy to travel with.
