For dinner, we will be serving your choice of fried pork chop or brisket, along with sides of boiled potatoes and squash. We hope there is something everyone will enjoy! If these options are not your preference, we completely understand and encourage you to eat beforehand, as we would never want any of our guests to go hungry.
The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, with the reception indoors. We do have a rain plan in place just in case!
Please keep in mind that parts of the wedding will be outdoors, so we recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable to walk in on grass and uneven ground.
Please arrive with enough time to sign the guest book, grab a favor, and find your seat before the ceremony begins. We are hoping to start the ceremony promptly at 5:00 PM.
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the same location.
Both of these questions can be answered through your RSVP. Children who were invited were included on the RSVP, but we wanted parents to decide whether they would like to bring their children or enjoy a parents’ night out. As for plus ones, we tried to be as accommodating as possible, but if a plus one was not included on your RSVP, we unfortunately are unable to accommodate additional guests due to seating and catering arrangements.
We will have a selection of beer and wine available for guests to enjoy. If you would like to bring anything additional, that is your choice. We simply ask that everyone drink responsibly, be respectful, and ensure they have a safe ride home if drinking. Anyone causing disruptions may be asked to leave.
We kindly ask that guests be mindful of cellphone usage during the ceremony and remain present in the moment with us. We are investing heavily in photography and would appreciate phones not blocking special moments or professional photos. After the ceremony, please feel free to take and share as many pictures as you would like!
Absolutely! There will be plenty of dancing, and we highly encourage everyone to join us on the dance floor. We definitely do not want an empty dance floor!
Please avoid blue jeans, overly casual attire, and white or ivory dresses.
Since we are working with a limited menu, we encourage guests with significant dietary restrictions or preferences to eat beforehand if needed. We never want anyone to leave hungry or uncomfortable.
